Of course!!! Most of my clients are very private people, and wish to keep their portraits to themselves. I am all for that! If there are any images that I would love to use, I will certainly check in with you first. Conversely, if you are all about sharing, but only need a few kept private, I respect that, too. It's all about communication.
During out consultation, we will talk about what makes you feel your best, and go from there. Occasionally, I will pull something from the studio closet to play with, or add to your current wardrobe.
I have a list of incredible hair and makeup artists to whom I refer my clients. However, if you are comfortable with your own stylist, you are welcome to have them get you glammed up for your session. Should we arrange a HMUA to be present at the studio before your session, payment to the HMUA separately.
It depends!! Typically, you can expect to be shooting for about two hours. Sometimes, during location shoots, such as home boudoir sessions, we can shoot for up to 3 hours.
Here is my philosophy on retouching:
Standard retouching is skin smoothing, blemish removal, slight wardrobe adjusting if needed, stray hairs, some artistic treatment....basically, anything temporary that is a distraction. I tend to not retouch scars or do body modifications without the request of the client, but I am happy to do so when requested.
